Honda Accord - Honcars

The first car of the model "Honda Accord" was produced in May, 1976. It was a front powered hatchback, equipped with a 1.6-liter engine. But already a year later, the sedan "Accord" appeared from the conveyor. It is necessary to note, that the "Honda Accord" model surpassed all expectations of designers and heads of the Honda company, winning the title of the most well-sold car in the USA during the next three years. 1985 was marked by presentation of a new "Accord" estate car, which was released under the name of "Aerodeck". This auto differed from its predecessors not only by a more impressive appearance, but also by an advanced engine, which was used in manufacture of all the "Accord" cars of the third generation.

The fourth generation of the model, the epoch of which fell on 1990-1993, became revolutionary to a certain extent. First of all, this concerns cars of series ES, the seats of which were sheathed by leather, and the car itself was equipped with aluminum wheel disks, a conditioner and a safety airbag. The last, as by today, generation of "Accord" is the seventh, presented in 2002. The car seems to be much more serious, than its predecessors. Not only the appearance of "Accord" has changed, but also its interior. The most dynamical version of the car of the seventh generation is considered "Accord" Type S, which incorporated the best that Honda designers had time to develop.

Today, the Honda company is manufacturing the "Honda Accord" car in two versions: a four-door sedan and a five-door hatchback. The sedan, which is present also on the Russian market, is especially popular.

Repairs of "Honda Accord" cars should not cause serious troubles to its owners. Original spare parts for "Accords" are quite accessible, at that it is not hard to find them on the territory of the Russian Federation. This factor makes the "Accord" model even more popular. The only problem, which can arise during the repairs, is the engine. As to the price policy, the cost of "Accord" is quite competitive in comparison with its primary "competitors".
